Doing Great

My how fast January went by and flew out the window!  This week has been good, the application to add a new district to Phnom Penh and re-do the branch boundaries was approved, so some big, huge preparations are going to be made in the next 3 weeks, and we will do the change on the 25th of February with Elder Gong from the 70.  Our investigators are doing really well! We are excited for this Sunday because one investigator of ours is going to be able to make it to church. They couldn’t afford a bike, so the branch president asked us to try and find one for them. There are a few broken bikes here, so we took one and got it fixed up, and the Branch President it taking it over to them today! Super exciting! I know that they are both excited to go to church.  He is  blind and he is just awesome. He has so much faith, and his gospel knowledge and ‘sense’ is incredible. He makes the connections, and understands the importance of going to church and living after the gospel. Even though his health is very, very poor, to the point that some days he can’t get out of his house and walk, he still prays. He still remembers the Lord. How wonderful is that? How important that truly is. I am excited for this group of Cambodians that are getting ready for their trip to the Hong Kong Temple this March. They have come for interviews, both on worthiness and finances, and to get visas and passports put together, and they have to put aside work and everything for a week. It will be the best thing that they will ever do though, and I am so excited to be here in the office when they head off.  We got new Khmer name badges.  They are pretty cool!
